Award-winning singer-songwriter Shanna in a Dress will perform in Safety Harbor on Valentine's Day.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Award-winning singer-songwriter Shanna in a Dress brings her "quirky folk-pop from a clever millennial who sucks at dating" to the Safety Harbor Art and Music Center, 706 2nd St. N for a special Valentine's Day show Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 7:30 pm.
Shanna in a Dress is your quirky best friend who refuses to wear pants. She says what everyone is thinking but no one else will say and you will get an uncensored journey of clever humor and heartbreak with a hefty sense of entertainment at her shows. This witty wordsmith is known for making audiences laugh and cry, sometimes in the same song.
She manages to teeter the line masterfully of taking on complex subject matters with smart accessible lyrics. Her songs are laden with clever wordplay and delight audiences of all ages.

2022 marked the release of Shanna’s full-length debut album Robot. Recorded at Cinder Sound Studio in Longmont, Colorado, and produced by acclaimed Colorado musician Megan Burtt, Robot features nine Shanna originals ranging from how men doing chores is sexy (Mmm, That’s Hot) to the heartbreakingly vulnerable Daddy’s Little Girl.

Out Of Eden Series
Visit the Gallery at Creative Pinellas, 12211 Walsingham Road, Largo, for internationally acclaimed Cuban American artist Yolanda Sánchez' nature-inspired art exhibit titled "Out of Eden."
This is the first time that her textile work and her paintings have been shown together. Her textiles are created using the traditional Korean Bojagi wrapping technique while her fabric choice and color are anything but traditional. Her artwork is full of lush, vibrant colors that reflect the landscape surrounding the Gallery at Creative Pinellas and all of Pinewood Park.
Currently, Sánchez is a full-time working artist, exhibiting nationally and internationally in numerous venues. In New York, she is represented by Kathryn Markel Fine Arts.Her works will be on exhibit at the Gallery through April 16.

Third Saturdays At Pinewood
Creative Pinellas, the Florida Botanical Gardens and Heritage Village, 12211 Walsingham Road, Largo, will celebrate Black History Month at Pinewood Park on Saturday, Feb.18.
Begin your day by experiencing the Imagine Blackness exhibition from noon to 5 p.m. along with hands-on activities at The Gallery Creative Pinellas.
Take a stroll through a winter in bloom at the Florida Botanical Gardens from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on your way to Heritage Village, which will feature the exhibit “A Place for All People: Introducing the National Museum of African American History and Culture,” a commemorative poster exhibition celebrating the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit opens Feb. 15 and runs through April 30.

'Dark Side Of The Moon' 50th Anniversary
Experience Classic Albums Live as they perform the music of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon note for note, cut for cut at the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre in Clearwater for the album's 50th Anniversary on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m.
Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon was released in March 1973, making 2023 the album’s 50th anniversary. The Dark Side of the Moon is considered one of the best-selling albums in the world. In 2012, the album was selected for preservation in the United States National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress. The album is known for its exploration of mature themes such as conflict, greed, time, death and mental illness. Many of the album’s songs have become classics like Money, Us And Them and Time.

Marty Stuart And His Fabulous Superlatives
Five-time Grammy winner and 2020 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives return to the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre in Clearwater Friday, Feb. 17 at 8 p.m.
Made up of guitarist Kenny Vaughan, drummer Harry Stinson and bassist Chris Scruggs, the Superlatives are an extension of Stuart himself. While known for hits such as Tempted, Little Things and Time Don't Wait, Stuart continues to record and release relevant music.

Blues On The Block
Blues on the Block, a spinoff event of the Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival, will be taking over the 600 block of Cleveland Street in Clearwater Feb. 24-25.
The Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival will make a grand return to a newly renovated waterfront park and music venue after the completion of Imagine Clearwater construction in July.
The musical lineup for Blue on the Block includes:

For $50, VIP ticket holders can enjoy a lounge experience in Station Square Park with snacks and soft drinks. VIP guests will receive three complimentary alcoholic beverages (beer/wine), access to private restrooms and entrance to a reserved seating area directly in front of the stage.
Mosaic Jewelry Workshop
The Institute for Creative Arts, 968 Douglas Ave., Dunedin will host a Mosaic Jewelry workshop Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m.
No experience is needed for this fun class where attendees will use charms, small beads and sea glass to make three colorful pendant necklaces. All materials and tools are included in the price of the class. Preregistration is required. Click here.
Dunedin Winter Concert
The Dunedin Concert Band is holding its winter concert, "El Pirate Capitan Jazz," Feb. 19 at 3 p.m. in the Dunedin Community Center, 1920 Pinehurst Road.
The "El Pirate Capitan Jazz" show will include songs appropriate for families with kids 7 and older.

Classical Guitar Concert
Back by popular demand, critically acclaimed classical guitarist Peter Fletcher is set to perform at the Safety Harbor Public Library, 101 2nd St. N, Safety Harbor on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m.
Fletcher’s solo recital repertoire runs the gamut from the Baroque period through the 20th century, featuring the Bach Chaconne, Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring, Tarrega’s Recuerdos de la Alhambra, Handel, Paganini, Mexican composer Manuel Ponce, Edvard Grieg and more, culminating with Isaac Albeniz’s Rumores de la Caleta, one of the most exciting Spanish guitar pieces.
Based in Detroit and New York City, Fletcher began playing guitar at 7 and obtained his master's from the Eastman School of Music. He performs in concert halls across the world.

The VFW Post 2550 of Dunedin is hosting a Dunedin Community Art Market on April 8 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Titled "Art With A Purpose," the pop-up market will support local artists, veterans and veteran services.
