Red Light Camera Violator of the Week: You Can’t Turn Then

A driver makes a U-turn as other traffic is turning from Belcher Road onto Gulf to Bay Boulevard making the latest Red Light Camera Violator of the Week.

The video was posted Aug. 27 on the Clearwater Police Facebook page.

The traffic light on was red nearly five seconds before the driver started turning.

“Watch for the white car going west on Gulf to Bay which comes up and does a U-turn against the red light - even as traffic on Belcher is in the intersection,” according to the post.

There was no accident in the Aug. 9 incident.
