Road Closures Announced In City Of Clearwater

Clearwater has announced road closures through March 10 throughout the city.

CLEARWATER, FL — The following road closures are happening in the city of Clearwater:

  • Turner Street between Myrtle and South Prospect Avenue will be closed to traffic through Feb. 24 due to sewer repairs.
  • Druid Road between Fort Harrison and Myrtle avenues will be closed to traffic through Feb. 28 due to sewer repairs.
  • The western portion of Nursery Road at Belcher Road will be closed to traffic through Feb. 24 due to sewer repairs. In addition, the outside curb lane of southbound Belcher Road just before Nursery Road will be shifted to the inside lane.
  • The northbound lane of North Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue from Eldridge to Palm Bluff streets will be closed to traffic March 1 to 10 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. due to work happening in the medians each day. Southbound traffic will remain open.

Businesses will still be open and accessible via the detours in place for the closures. Follow the posted detour signs in these areas.
