CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater Fundamental Middle School eighth-grader Sophia Leung is representing Pinellas in the Art in the Capitol Competition with her Florida-themed acrylic and colored pencil work titled, "Feeling as Sweet as an Orange."

The Art in the Capitol Competition is a statewide visual arts competition for students in grades six through eight. The winning artworks from each school district are displayed in the Capitol in Tallahassee during the regular legislative session from Jan. 9 through March 8.
