Teen Bicyclist Injured In Palm Harbor Crash: FL Highway Patrol
A 15-year-old Palm Harbor boy on a bicycle was hit and killed by a truck, Florida Highway Patrol said.
PALM HARBOR, FL — A 15-year-old Palm Harbor boy was seriously injured after being hit by a truck on Monday morning, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
The Ford F250, driven by a 21-year-old Redington Beach man, was heading east on Colonial Boulevard and was stopped at the intersection of Belcher Road just before the crash at 7:05 a.m.
The teen was heading south along the east sidewalk of Belcher Road at the time of the crash FHP said,

At the intersection, the truck continued east and hit the bike as it moved into the intersection.
The teen suffered serious injuries and was brought to an area hospital.
