US 19 Northbound Ramp From Frontage Road In Clearwater Closing Nights
The northbound U.S. 19 entrance ramp (located just north of Nursery Road) from Frontage Road will close nightly Tuesday through Friday.
CLEARWATER, FL — Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 12 through Friday, Sept. 15,the northbound U.S. 19 entrance ramp (located just north of Nursery Road) from Frontage Road will close nightly from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.
These closures are necessary for crews to perform work related to the U.S. 19 Pedestrian Overpass Project in Pinellas County.
During these ramp closures, drivers will have to continue north on Frontage Road and enter U.S. 19 using the entrance ramp located past Seville Boulevard.

Access to businesses, side streets and emergency vehicles will be maintained. Advanced warning signs and message boards will assist drivers traveling through this area. Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and allow extra travel time for delays.

Construction of the overpass is expected to be completed this fall.
The $8 million 300-foot overpass will take pedestrians across U.S. 19 from south of Harn Boulevard to north of 1st Street.
Other improvements include milling and resurfacing sections of roadway, installing drainage structures, adding curb and gutters, sidewalks and relocating utilities along U.S. 19 between Harn Boulevard and Tropic Hills Drive.
