Vehicle Drives Through Laundromat, Police Say

A driver hit the gas instead of the brakes causing his vehicle to go through part of a building, according to Clearwater Police.

A vehicle went through the glass front of the Gulf to Bay Coin Laundry Saturday afternoon. The vehicle stopped about halfway into the building. The incident apparently happened when a driver hit the gas instead of the brake, according to police.

There were no serious injuries and most of the damage to the building was from broken glass. There was no major damage to the structure, according to a news release.
