Where To Celebrate New Year’s Eve 2022 In Clearwater

CLEARWATER, FL — While Clearwater doesn't have a famous New Year's countdown and giant ball drop like Times Square in New York City or even a less familiar tradition like the giant Potato Drop in Boise, Idaho, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the new year including Clearwater Beach's annual midnight fireworks display over the Gulf of Mexico.

Here is a look at some additional events happening in Clearwater:

• The city of Clearwater will host the New Year's Eve Shopping with a Vibe market at Walter C. Campbell Park, 801 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., in collaboration with the Clearwater Urban Leadership Coalition on Saturday, Dec. 31, from 4 to 8 p.m. The event will bring vendors from all over the region along with live entertainment, games, foodie competitions, arts and crafts, bounce houses and food trucks. • The Shephard's Beach Resort Rock the New Year's Party 2023 will take place from 8 p.m. Dec. 31 to 2:30 a.m. Jan. 1. Taking place at all four venues at the beachfront resort at 619 S Gulfview Blvd., including Shephard's Tiki Beach, Salt Tequila Bar and Tap Room, Soak Pool and Wave Nightclub, it will include a front-row seat to Clearwater's New Year's fireworks display, live music from The Actual Bank Robbers Band, DJ Ray and Just Frank spinning top 40 hits and favorite songs from previous years, balloon drops, a light show, champagne toasts and party favors.
