Where To See Santa Claus In Pinellas County This Holiday Season

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — How can the Jolly Old Elf be in so many places at once? Well, that's the magic of Christmas. Kids will encounter Santa just about everywhere they go this year.

Here are some places to find Santa:

37th Annual Treasure Island Lighted Boat Parade

Treasure Island will host its 37th Annual Treasure Island Lighted Boat Parade on Friday, Dec. 17.
The Treasure Island Boat Parade, featuring a variety of boats, is one of the largest lighted boat parades in the Tampa Bay area.

A Holiday Celebration will be held at Treasure Bay Golf & Tennis on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. where the Holiday Lighted Boat Parade will begin. There will be a DJ, a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus, interactive entertainers, and food and beverage concessions.

The parade will begin promptly at 6:20 p.m. just south of the Treasure Island Causeway. The route travels south of Paradise Island, back through the Treasure Island Causeway Bridge at 7 p.m., around the Isles of Palms and Capri, and finishes at John’s Pass at approximately 8:15 p.m.

Redington Beaches-Indian Shores Holiday Boat Parade

Watch for Santa at the Redington Beaches-Indian Shores Holiday Boat Parade Sunday, Dec. 18.

The boats will gather at the Tom Stuart Causeway at 5:45 p.m. for a 6 p.m. start.

The best viewing areas are R.O.C. Park in Madeira Beach, 161st Avenue Causeway in Redington Beach, Del Bello Park in Redington Shores, Park Boulevard Boat Ramp area and behind Indian Shores Town Hall.

The parade concludes at Caddy's Indian Shores where raffles and prizes will be awarded. The entire route takes approximately three hours to complete.

Countryside Mall

Santa will be at Countryside Mall, 27001 U.S. 19 N, Clearwater, through Dec. 22 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays; and Dec. 23 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Meet Santa At Caddy's

Caddy's Waterfront Dining will host Santa Sunday, Dec. 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Treasure Island restaurant.

Santa Visit Tarpon Springs On Fire Truck

Santa will visit Tarpon Springs again this year courtesy of Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue.

Santa can't visit every street, but will attempt to get close to each neighborhood so that everyone can enjoy this festive event.

Dates are Dec. 12-16 and 19 and 20. A rain date is set for Dec. 21.
