Woman Run Over, Killed By PSTA Bus At Clearwater Mall: Reports

CLEARWATER, FL — A woman was run over and killed by a Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority bus that she wanted to board Saturday night at Clearwater Mall on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard, according to multiple reports.

The woman, 39-year-old Angela Wymer, fell while trying to get the bus driver’s attention just before 7 p.m., WFLA said.

She was banging on the bus as it pulled away from the stop and fell under the rear wheel well of the bus, Tampa Bay 28 reported.

Wymer was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Fox 13.
