Xanax Swiped By Armed Robber
Clearwater Police need help identifying a man accused of holding up Bay Life Pharmacy for drugs.
CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater Police are on the hunt for a man accused of holding up Bay Life Pharmacy with a gun on Monday. The man, authorities say, didn’t want cash. He demanded Xanax instead.
The crime occurred around 11:30 a.m. June 19 when the man walked into the 1235 S. Missouri Ave. pharmacy. Once inside, the man demanded pills from employees, an email from the police department said.
The man police say they are looking for is described as standing 5-foot-8. He has a thin build and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeve gray shirt, sunglasses and a tan hat. In addition to the gun, he also had a skateboard in tow, authorities say.
