• Big Turnout at Citrus Tower Helps Boost Baby DJ Toy Drive (lakeandsumterstyle.com) — Clermont’s Citrus Tower drew a huge crowd for Wheatley Realty’s annual Baby DJ toy drive, now considered one of the city’s most heartwarming holiday traditions. Families donated toys for free tower rides, enjoyed food trucks and entertainment, and helped raise more than $22,000 in gifts, with many toys staying in Lake County to support local children in need.
   

• Clermont Approves Walmart's First Drone Delivery Hub in Florida (lakeandsumterstyle.com) — Clermont’s City Council has approved zoning variances for Walmart’s first drone delivery hub in Florida, planned at the Johns Lake Road Supercenter. Drones will deliver small orders within six miles, lowering items by cable instead of landing, while council members push for an attractive wrap on a long-term shipping container to protect the store’s appearance and neighborhood feel.
