Taylor Community Tree Park is being celebrated as Hendry County’s first, with deep ties to Clewiston through Taylor’s service as the city’s first Black female police officer. Residents see the venue as a symbol of community pride and hope it will draw concerts and regional events that benefit nearby Clewiston and Harlem alike.
