Coconut Grove Chamber Of Commerce: New Billboard On U.S. 1 To Save The Playhouse

Opponents of the updated county plan for the Coconut Grove Playhouse were riled up before the Zoom meeting about the project on Mon., Oct. 4. After the meeting, which consisted of a presentation about the project but no public comment or questions, they’re even more determined to fight the project. Adding to the growing heat of the battle is a new billboard on the east side of U.S. 1 just south of 37th Ave. The billboard went up last Wednesday and will stay up for at least the next month, possibly longer.
