• Florida clarifies new law on license plate frames (nbcmiami.com) — A new Florida law now makes it a crime if your license plate frame covers any numbers, stickers, or the state name, and penalties can reach $5,000 and prison in serious cases. Doral Police Chief Edwin Lopez urges residents to simply remove plate frames altogether to avoid confusion and potential fines under the stricter rules.
   

• Cadillac returns as PGA Tour sponsor at Trump's Doral course (statenews.net) — A major pro golf tournament is coming back to Trump National Doral in 2026, with Cadillac returning as title sponsor of a $20 million Signature Event. The Cadillac Championship will run April 30–May 3 on the famed Blue Monster course, restoring Doral’s long-running role on the PGA Tour schedule after years of hosting LIV Golf events.
