It's bring your dog to work day! Also, golf cart parking spots will be coming to Weaver Park, the city manager said at Thursday's commission meeting.

1) Bring your umbrella today. The National Weather Service is calling for scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm this morning. Otherwise, it'll be mostly cloudy with a high near 86. Chances of precipitation carry into tonight. Low is 76.
2) The lowest reported gas price in Dunedin is $3.14 on TampaGasPrices.com at two stations:

3) Now you have an excuse to give in to those big brown puppy dog eyes. Today is National Take Your Dog to Work Day! It began 14 years ago as a way to promote pet adoptions. 4) Three golf cart parking spaces are coming to , City Manager Rob DiSpirito said at last night's commission meeting. This, after the commission approved a new golf cart crossing to be installed at Monroe Street and Broadway, which effectively grants the downtown golf cart drivers access to the Marina, Weaver Park via Victoria Drive.
5) Time is running out to register for The annual Kiwanis Morton Plant Mease Midnight Run (July 3 to 4) on the Dunedin Causeway. Select either the 1-mile, 5K, or 10K race (or any combination thereof). (Link to register online.)
