The city is currently in the design phases for a new Aquatic Complex with construction planned to begin within the next two years. The City of Dunedin wants local input and has created a short survey allowing locals to provide input on what kind of features and amenities they'd like to see in the new facility. 3. This year's featured artist at the 57th Annual Art Harvest in Dunedin is Jennifer Peck. Peck's artwork is inspired by Florida's coastal life which she grew fond of after moving from Texas to Sarasota. She earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Colorado and has spent the last 25 years working in the art industry. As a mixed artist, Peck adds vivid colors, texture, and whimsy to her seaside portraits. Peck exhibits her work in galleries and art festivals along the Florida coast. Her work will be featured at the Art Harvest at Highlander Park this weekend. (Dunedin Patch)
  4. The City of Dunedin recently had a Sustainability Study of the Dunedin Golf Club completed by the National Golf Foundation. Part of the study was done in July 2021 which included a review of the Dunedin Golf Club's facility, finances, required property maintenance, performance projections, and feedback from the community. Findings from the study were presented at a City Commission workshop on August 31, however, there's no word on what the city's plans for the golf club are yet. (Press Release Desk)
  5. A female pickpocket has been targeting elderly men in Pinellas County, one occurring right here in Dunedin. The woman approaches the men outside of stores and acts as if she knows them.
