1. The new school year is around the corner, and the City of Dunedin is hosting a Back to School Open House & Expo on July 27 to help families prepare. Bring the family to the MLK Jr. Recreation Center between 6 and 7:30 p.m. to browse various vendors offering information on before and after school activities, wellness, safety, and more. Kids can also participate in various hands-on activities and games. The first 200 school-age children will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies. (Dunedin Gov)
2. The Dunedin Golf Club is hosting an 80s Music Fest on July 14 on the patio between 6 and 9 p.m. Enjoy the sounds of the era played by DJ Jerry, happy hour drink prices between 4 and 8 p.m., and dancing. Dinner reservations are encouraged for those who plan to grab food while there. 3. Teenage entrepreneur, Ceara Rae, was recently interviewed by Bold Journey about her experience running her Dunedin business, Sunset Henna. "At the beginning of starting Sunset Henna, I was worried that my clients would find out that I was just 15, and wouldn’t want to do business with me. • The Dunedin Chamber of Commerce is holding a Business After Hours networking event on July 26 between 5 and 7 p.m. The evening will be hosted by Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home and Memorial Park and will include food, prizes, and more. (Dunedin Chamber of Commerce via Facebook)
