Here are the top three stories in Dunedin today:

  1. Philly Bite Magazine has listed Hot Dogs on Main in Dunedin as one of the top five places in Florida to get a hot dog! If you haven't visited it yet, you can expect fresh food, reasonable prices, indoor and outdoor seating and a quaint atmosphere. The article calls out some of the public's favorite options, including the original Greek Hound Dog, the Southern Dog and the delicious fresh coleslaw. Check out the article to see who else made the list! (Philly Bite)
  2. Dunedin-based mortician, Jessica Dillon, is changing the industry by offering spooky photo ops. Founder of Embalmarina’s Traveling Postmortem Fauxtography Parlour, a photoshoot with Dillon includes a coffin, flowers, candles, prayer cards and various vintage props. “I want people to not be so afraid of death,” Dillon told Tampa Bay Times. “If you can embrace your mortality, it’ll help you live a better life.” The idea was first executed at Tampa’s annual Tabernacle of Oddities event. 3. The city of Dunedin shared that Pinellas County Emergency Management has rolled out a new and improved Ready Pinellas Emergency Alert App and 2022 All Hazards Preparedness Guide. The Ready Pinellas mobile app is designed to help residents prepare themselves and their families before, during and after a storm. The app helps users create an emergency supply checklist and home inventory list. It also offers access to emergency contacts and tools to build a personal emergency plan. Learn more about the app and how to download it on the city's website. (City of Dunedin via Facebook | Dunedin Gov)
