  1. The City of Dunedin plans to welcome the Toronto Blue Jays back to town on Feb. 19 with a special celebration. So far, they've decided to kick off the event with a golf cart parade at 1 p.m. The parade will lead to TD Ballpark, where the guests can join in on welcoming the Blue Jays back to Dunedin and take the opportunity to check out the improvements made to the stadium. City officials are still working out all of the event's details and should announce them over the next few weeks. As for now, make sure to save the date! (TBN Weekly)
  2. The City of Dunedin Pipe Band will be holding a rehearsal today in Pioneer Park at 3:30 p.m. All are welcome to stop by and hear them play! In fact, they're asking for an audience as it will put some pressure on them as they prepare for the World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, coming up in August. (City of Dunedin Pipe Band via Facebook)
  3. Check out the latest episode of Made in Dunedin featuring Jennifer Dorr, owner of Citrus Styles on Main Street. Dorr talks about how the name of her store, Citrus Styles, is a homage to our city, which was once bustling with citrus packing facilities. "I'm very lucky, the community feedback has been wonderful. They have supported me, and that's really key because to have a business downtown, it can't just be about the snowbirds. It has to be, you know, the bread and butter is the community." Check out the full video here and be sure to stop into Citrus Styles next time you're downtown. (City of Dunedin via Facebook)
