- The Pinellas County's first-ever Winter Walk kicks off today, December 1. The walking club was started by Sarah Phinney who was looking for ways to remain active during quarantine. Anyone can participate in the club and can take on the preselected trails at their own pace. The goal is to complete a minimum of eight hikes at specific parks between now and April 30. Each park highlights some hidden, and some not so hidden, trails across Tampa Bay. Register online through Eventbrite to participate. (ABC Action News)
