Celebrate Peace Through Actions at Rotary's 120th Anniversary Event
Experience a Showcase of over 30 Non-profits, hosted by the three Dunedin Rotary Clubs, on Feb. 19
On February 19, the three Rotary Clubs of Dunedin invite the community to share a special evening that celebrates Peace Through Actions while honoring Rotary International’s 120 years of service. The event will take place from 6-8 PM at the Dunedin Community Center, with over 30 local charities and non-profits coming together to showcase their efforts in creating a more peaceful world through services they provide to our community.
Rotary has long been known for its commitment to peace and humanitarian service and this anniversary event offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the power of collective action. Attendees will witness firsthand how small actions, supported by charitable organizations, can create waves of resiliency and positive peace.
The short program begins at 6 PM. Come early to the Rotary Peace Pole outside and hear music by the children from Academie Da Vinci and then walk inside to hear peace songs by Strings & Things. The popular peace song, “Imagine,” will be sung by Dunedin High School student, Hollis Rutkoski. Please add your voice to the growing call for unity and peace through actions.
