Celtic Music To Fill Highlander Park In Dunedin Saturday
The nonprofit Dunedin Scottish Arts Foundation will host the annual Dunedin Celtic Music Craft Beer Festival Saturday, Nov. 19.

DUNEDIN, FL — The sound of bagpipes and bodhrans will resonate through Highlander Park in Dunedin as the nonprofit Dunedin Scottish Arts Foundation hosts the annual Dunedin Celtic Music Craft Beer Festival Saturday, Nov. 19 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
In addition to live music and Highland dancers, this year's festival will provide a sampling of the Scottish Heavy Athletics competition featured at the annual Dunedin Highland Games and Festival held each April, including the caber toss, sheaf toss and stone throw.
There will also be craft beer and a selection of wines, Celtic-themed vendors as well as an antique British car show at the park.

"This year we are excited to put on the best Celtic music event ever," said Eric MacNeill, president of the Dunedin Scottish Arts Foundation. “We encourage our loyal supporters and new friends to come out and experience what true Celtic fun looks like."
The Dunedin Scottish Arts Foundation raises money to support the Scottish Arts programs in Dunedin including Highland dancing, the middle school and high school pipe band programs and the City of Dunedin Pipe Band.

"Supporting our education programs is more important than ever," MacNeill said. "There has been a lot of challenges in the past couple of years, but our support of the Celtic arts is unwavering. We are a nonprofit organization where every penny we make goes back into the Scottish arts community in our area."
The schedule includes:
- 10 a.m. — Gates open and Scottish Heavy Athletics competition begins including a caber toss, sheaf toss and stone throw
- 11 a.m. — Dunedin Highland Middle School Band and Scottish Arts Program
- 11:30 a.m. — Lucid Druid
- 12:30 p.m. — Dunedin High School Scottish Highlander Band
- 1 p.m. — Isle of Skye Highland Dancers
- 1:30 p.m. — Rathkeltair
- 3 p.m. — City of Dunedin Pipe Band
- 3:30 p.m. — North of Argyll
Music and athletics will finish at 5 p.m. and the event will close up at 6 p.m.
There will be limited on-site parking in Highlander Park and at Dunedin High School with a complimentary shuttle service. There is no charge for parking.
Pre-sales of general admission tickets for $15 and VIP tickets are available here and at the Celtic Shop of Dunedin in Downtown Dunedin.
Tickets at the gate are $20.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Pets and coolers are prohibited.
