City Of Dunedin 2022 Citizen Survey Now Available Online
The survey will remain open through March 27.

DUNEDIN, FL — The city of Dunedin's 2022 survey will be conducted by Research Data Services Inc., an independent research firm.
Citizen surveys are a valuable research tool for elected officials and city administration to identify areas the community excels in and areas that need work. It is a tool to gauge resident perspectives, provide insights and capture valuable feedback.
In early 2019, the city of Dunedin surveyed residents using a survey delivered digitally and via phone interviews. Approximately 1,277 survey responses were recorded. Results of the survey were delivered to the Dunedin City Commission on April 15, 2019.

The survey showed that 76 respondents felt Dunedin was an excellent place to live with high ratings in the areas of library, parks and recreation, and emergency services. Overall, more than 95 percent of residents were satisfied with the city's services.
The survey was also able to highlight and identify areas of concern, such as growth, parking, traffic and multi-modal safety. Based on the results in these areas, the city focused on providing educational campaigns, securing alternative parking options, adding green space, engaging focus groups, developing the Multi-Modal Master Plan, enacting the Historic Preservation Ordinance, developing the Citizens' Academy and revising the land development code.

To continue working to meet the needs of our residents, the city of Dunedin is conducting a follow-up Citizen Opinion Survey open through March 27.
The survey questions will closely duplicate those in the 2019 version to maintain data integrity. Comparisons between the two years' responses will allow the city to capture the impacts of the work done in the areas of concern, reflect the impact of improvements and guide the commission and city administration for the next several years to respond to resident needs.
