Man Found Dead In Dunedin Canal ID'd
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has identified a man whose body was found in a Dunedin canal on Monday.

DUNEDIN, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a Dunedin canal Monday afternoon.
According to the agency, the body of Charles P. Morris, 63, was found floating in a shallow canal east of Bayshore Boulevard around 3:48 p.m. June 26. Morris, an email from the sheriff's office said, had been reported missing from his Dunedin home on June 20.

"Morris suffered from a memory loss-related illness and was considered a missing/endangered person," a Tuesday afternoon email from the sheriff's office said.
Authorities were actively searching for Morris when his body was found behind the Cedar Creek Mobile Home Park, the email noted. It is unclear who found Morris' body.

While the death remains under investigation, detectives say it does not appear suspicious in nature.
