Looking for a great place to put up guests in Dunedin?
We all know Dunedin is a great place to visit. And we love it when our friends and family come to town. We just don’t always want them to actually stay in our homes. But how do we get that across without sounding, you know, a little rude…?
Here’s an idea: strongly suggest they stay at the Mai Tai Suites. Owners John and Karen Bickford offer fully furnished 850 square foot 2-bed, 1-bath suites for less than the price of a hotel.

Here are the top 3 stories today in Dunedin:
- President and CEO of the Dunedin Fine Art Center George Ann Bissett has high hopes for the organization's future. “I just hope their programs just keep growing,” she said to TBN Weekly. “Can it grow more? Of course, it can.” Board Chair Mike Bowman praised Bissett saying, “George Ann is amazing. She can do anything. The energy she brings to this job is like nothing I’ve seen before. We hate to see her go.” DFAC is currently looking for someone to replace her, shoes Bowman said are big to fill. “Our goal is to find someone who can continue the excellent work George Ann has done and help us continue to step up even higher.” (Tampa Bay Newspapers)
- Citrus is coming back to Dunedin in a new format. At one time, our community supplied orange juice and orange concentrate throughout the United States, but all that changed in the '60s. An increasing need for land to develop reduced the number of citrus trees, removing the association between Dunedin and oranges. However, the association was renewed after local artists began painting oranges on building downtown, leading to the Orange Citrus Festival. After a two-year hiatus, the festival is back in Pioneer Park on July 8 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Make sure to stop by to enjoy live entertainment, a pinup contest, vintage cars, free orange juice, and more! (Tampa Bay Newspapers)
- The Dunedin Blue Jays are hosting baseball camp for kids between 8 and 12 between July 18 and July 21 between 8:30 a.m. and noon. Kids will learn to sharpen their skills and learn from Blue Jays players and coaches! The cost is $200 per child, which includes tickets to the July 22 home game. Those interested can register here. - Congratulations to Dunedin High School for earning an "A" for the 2022-2023 school year!
