Here are the top 3 stories in Dunedin today:

  1. Meet Todd Still, who has been encouraging students to create art at the Dunedin Fine Art Center for more than 25 years. He has worked hard to provide fun and exciting ways for kids to express their creativity and was recently rewarded with a promotion to vice president of programming. In an interview with FOX 13, he shared how far the program has come since he first started working for the DFAC. "You always have to think out of the box," Still explained. "Creating and what you learn from going through that process of problem-solving and with art you can apply to the world around you." The DFAC offers summer art camps for children between four and 14 years old. You can learn more about their camps here. (FOX 13 Tampa)
  2. Several Dunedin restaurants are teaming up to participate in the Dunedin Go Green Initiative by replacing plastic and Styrofoam with bio-degradable paper products. Crown & Bull is one of more than a dozen restaurants participating in the initiative. Some of their environmentally friendly products include recycled cardboard, compostable plastic, and paper straws. Casa Tina and The Honu are also working hard to go green and will eventually be recognized with green stickers, so it'll be clear which restaurants are eco-friendly. The goal is to get more restaurants and businesses on board. (ABC Action News Tampa Bay)
  3. Woodwright Brewing Company is hosting 80s Rock Night on May 20 between 7:30 and 11 p.m. Stop by to enjoy some classic 80s rock music and a wide variety of craft beers. There's no cover for this event, and red leather pants are optional. (Woodbright Brewing Company via Facebook)
