  1. Dunedin High School continues to celebrate alumni who now work at the school in honor of Thanksgiving. Today, they chose to recognize two of their employees, starting with an interview with ESE Specialist Mr. Moundros:
    What were you involved in at DHS?
    I was on the football and weightlifting teams! Favorite memory as a DHS student: Beating Clearwater my senior year in overtime on their field 30-27.
    Where did you go to college?
    SPC College of Ed.
    What is your favorite thing about working at DHS?
    Having met my beautiful wife here, my nieces and nephews go here, working with the students and staff, and especially working with Coach Disney, and the rest of the football staff. (Dunedin High School via Facebook)

    What were you involved in at DHS?

    I was involved in NJROTC for 4 years. I was a member of the Color Guard, Academic Team, Rifle Team, Athletic Team, and Drill Team. Senior year, I was Unarmed Drill Team Commander and Rifle Postal Match Coordinator.
    What was your favorite memory as a DHS student?
    The JROTC Field Trip to Norfolk, VA my senior year, and a Leadership Conference at Flagler College my Sophomore year. Where you went to college?
    I went to St. Petersburg College.
    What is your favorite thing about working at DHS?
    Being an alumni and having my former teachers become my colleagues. Also being back in the yearbook with my sons, was a unique experience! One graduated last school year and my youngest is a junior this year. (Dunedin High School via Facebook)
  3. Ready to celebrate the holidays in Dunedin? The city has plenty of events for locals to enjoy including Breakfast With Santa on Dec. 3 at 9 a.m. in the Community Center. Those interested can register online. Additionally, the Dunedin Boat Club's Annual Lighted Holiday Boat Parade is scheduled for Dec. 3 between 6 and 9 p.m. The parade starts at Marker 1 Marina and ends at the City of Dunedin Marina. Those interested in participating in the parade can register up to Dec. 1. While there are no fees to join the parade, there are a limited number of spots available.
