Dunedin City Offices Closed Friday, Veterans Day Celebration Saturday

DUNEDIN, FL — All city offices, including the Dunedin Public Library, will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10 in honor of Veterans Day.

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month is the traditional time to celebrate Veterans Day.

Dunedin will host a patriotic and musical tribute to men and women in uniform on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at Edgewater Park, 51 Main St.

The ceremony will include the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard, inspirational speakers and patriotic music.

All are invited for a reception following the ceremony at the SPC Zachary L. Shannon VFW Post 2550 Dunedin, 360 Douglas Ave., for food, drinks and entertainment.
