Dunedin Man, 57, Arrested In Child Porn Case

DUNEDIN, FL — A 57-year-old Dunedin man faces 11 counts of possession of child pornography following an investigation conducted by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say they began looking into Richard Beal Anger’s alleged illegal activities on June 19 when a tip was received that he might be in possession of pornographic images of children. Authorities say they gathered evidence that Anger was “intentionally downloading child pornography."

A warrant search was conducted at Anger’s apartment in the 600 block of Grove Court in Dunedin on Wednesday, Aug. 16. During the search, detectives seized “various images and videos that included sexual content and conduct by children,” an email from the agency said.

Anger was brought into custody following the search. He was being held in the Pinellas County Jail Thursday morning.

Authorities say the investigation remains active.
