Dunedin Parks & Rec Offering Lifeguard Training

The registration deadline is March 11.

DUNEDIN, FL — Dunedin Parks & Recreation is offering a lifeguard training class at Highlander Pool for ages 15 and older.

Participants will learn life-sustaining skills in water and on land. Certification includes Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid. After successful completion, candidates have the opportunity to apply to work at Highlander Pool.

The deadline to register is Friday, March 11. Participants must pass the pre-course swim test and attend all classes.

The swim test is on Saturday, March 12 at 11 a.m. Classes will take place at the Highlander Pool Saturdays and Sundays, March 19-27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is $240 per person.

Register online or in person at the Dunedin Community Center, 1920 Pinehurst Road.
