DUNEDIN, FL — Dunedin Parks & Recreation is offering a water safety instructor course at Highlander Pool, 1937 Ed Eckert Drive, Dunedin, for ages 16 and older.

Participants must register by Wednesday, Feb. 16 and pass the pre-course swim test on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 10a.m.

The course will be held Saturdays and Sundays, Feb. 26 to March 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The cost is $290 per person.

Students will learn the skills and techniques required to be Red Cross-certified swim teacher.

Bring a swim suit, several towels, a change of clothes and a nonperishable lunch. The course will be taught by Alicia Castricone, aquatics coordinator.
