Dunedin Restaurants Open For Thanksgiving Day 2023

DUNEDIN, FL — For people who don’t want to spend hours or even days cooking and cleaning up from a big turkey dinner, several restaurants in Dunedin are open Thanksgiving Day.

Restaurants open for Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 23, offer a range of dining experiences, from fine dining to fast casual to fast food. In some cases, you’ll need to make a reservation, so plan as much as possible.

As always, Patch encourages you to call any restaurant on this list in advance to double-check hours on Thanksgiving Day, as many vary by location. Here are the local restaurants that plan to be open:

Prohibition Dunedin

Prohibition Dunedin, 1600 Main St., Dunedin, is taking reservations for a Family-Style Thanksgiving Dinner on Nov. 23 between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. featuring turkey, ham, broccoli casserole, cranberry jam, green beans, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, corn, salad and homemade country-style biscuits. Enjoy a Thanksgiving meal without having to do any of the cooking or cleanup. The cost is $28.95 for adults and $11.95 for children under age 10. Make reservations at 727-754-8448.

Bon Appetit

Bon Appetit, 148 Marina Plaza, Dunedin, is offering a choice of a buffet ($99 for adults and $25 for ages 9 and younger) or a four-course meal ($99).

The buffet features a charcuterie station, shrimp, mussels, clams, gravlax, roast beef, ahi tuna, salads, bread, turkey, prime rib, chicken, salmon, ham, lobster egg pie, sides and a dessert station.

The four-course meal starts with a welcome glass of champagne.

The first course features a choice of lobster martini, crab bisque or antipasto plate. The second course features a holiday salad. The third course is a choice of turkey, lobster tail, half-duck, sea bass, filet mignon or squash ravioli. Finish off the meal with dessert.

A special four-course menu is available for children 10 and younger for $25.

HEW Parlor & Chophouse

HEW Parlor & Chophouse at Fenway Hotel at 453 Edgewater Drive, Dunedin, is offering a Thanksgiving Day Family-Style Feast from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for $85 per adult and $25 for children 12 and under (children 5 and under eat for free).

The feast includes:

• Starter: Whipped feta
• First course: Squash and radicchio salad with maple clovis vinaigrette
• Main course: Fresh herbs and paprika-rubbed beef eye roast with sweet Bordelaise, Creole fried turkey with wild mushroom stuffing and giblet gravy, sage and herbs-rubbed pork stuffed with caramelized onion and apples topped with a sherry cream
• Sides: Roasted garlic mashed potato casserole, sweet potato gratin, lemon oregano corn souffle and butter pecan-roasted carrots with seven-grain granola.
• Dessert: Turtle pecan cheesecake and warm pumpkin pudding with rum raisin ice cream

Innisbrook Resort

Innisbrook Resort, 36740 U.S. 19 N, Palm Harbor, will host a Thanksgiving with seatings at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. on Nov. 23. Sip on bottomless mimosas and listen to live music as you feast on a traditional Thanksgiving meal ($74 for adults and $24 for ages 5 to 12).

If you’d rather eat at home, get a complete turkey dinner with a breast only (feeds two to six) or a whole turkey (feeds six to 12) for about $32 per person. Reservations are required for both dine-in and takeout.
