Paddywagon Dunedin is hosting a Back To The 80s party on July 15 at 7 p.m. Tease your hair and grab something neon from your closet and enjoy an evening of the hottest tunes from the decade by DJ Smitty! The best-dressed man, woman, and couple will each receive a $25 gift card for their efforts. (Paddywagon Dunedin via Facebook)
  2. Dunedin American Legion Post 275 is hosting Operation Christmas Cards on July 29 at 12:30 p.m. Stop by to sign some holiday cards for the troops and help pack boxes of treats for them to receive. Enjoy a turkey lunch for only $6, which will help pay for the postage to mail holiday cards and gift boxes. If you can't make it to the event, consider dropping off donations to be put in the boxes.   3. Tickets are now available for The Scottish American Society's Bourbon vs. Whisky Tasting event on July 22 at 7 p.m. Enjoy a friendly competition between Scotch and American bourbons while enjoying the sounds of Jerry the DJ.   • The City of Dunedin repaired the water main break on Virginia Street, and all water customers should now have their water back on. Precautionary Boil Water Notices (PBWN) were hand delivered and hung on the doors of those who need to boil their water before using it. A second notice will be delivered once the water has been tested for quality and can be consumed as usual. (City of Dunedin via Facebook)
  • If you missed the city's time capsule dedication event, check out some photos they shared on Facebook! You can also visit the location of the time capsule at the new City Hall building.(City of Dunedin via Facebook)
  • Meet Ethel, an adorable pup with a rough past who is up for adoption at the Pinellas County Animal Services shelter. Despite her difficult past, Ethel is always happy, and her charming personality truly shines. When she's not cuddling with her foster family on the couch she loves to sunbathe in the Florida heat.
