Here are the top 3 stories today in Dunedin:
- Yesterday's newsletter had the wrong date for Dunedin's upcoming Hurricane Preparedness Expo. It will be on June 13, NOT June 16, at 6 p.m. in the new City Hall building. This free event provides essential information on how to prepare your household for hurricane season. Stop by to hear from experts, meet local emergency responders, and browse relevant vendors. (City of Dunedin via Facebook)
- The Dunedin Blue Jays are celebrating alumni Chris Weinke with a bobblehead giveaway at their June 16 game at TD Ballpark. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., after which the first 1,000 fans will receive a bobblehead. Attendees can also enjoy BOGO margaritas and frozen drinks at Eddie's Bar near the left field bleachers! Tickets are $8 online in advance and $11 at the door. (MILB)
- EJM Designs Jewelry is hosting a Mosaic Jewelry Workshop at Pisces Sushi on June 28 between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Guests will learn to make one-of-a-kind pendants and pill boxes using beads, charms, and sea glass. Tickets can be purchased online or in-person at Pisces and include all materials needed and $15 towards food. Space is limited, so those interested should sign up right away.
