Five Things Dunedin Can't Live Without
Here are Dunedin Patch's picks for five things Dunedin residents can't live without.
This morning, Dunedin Patch noticed that #icantgoadaywithout was among the top posts trending today on Twitter. So, in honor of the trend, here are Dunedin Patch's picks for five things Dunedin residents can't go a day without:
1. Getting involved: If Dunedin sees a problem, its residents are right there to help solve it. State wants to put camping on Honeymoon? Does an event need to be planned? Dogs need foster homes? A Dunedin resident is likely behind the scenes making things happen.
2. St. Joseph Sound: The Sound is the center of Dunedin life. Whether you enjoy it by land — walking or running along the Causeway, watching sunsets or picking seashells from Honeymoon Island — or by sea — fishing, boating or kayaking from Weaver Park, Causeway Boulevard, or the Dunedin Marina — it's hard to imagine life without it.

3. A bike ride: Dunedin's pedestrian-friendly layout and bountiful Pinellas Trail access points allows its residents put all those bike racks around the city and parks to good use.
4. Driving on Bayshore Boulevard: Alt 19 is almost unavoidable thoroughfare for getting to and fro. Plus, who doesn't enjoy the relaxing, ambling views of some of Dunedin's treasures: Weaver Park, downtown and St. Joseph Sound?

5. Dogs and beer: These two go for the tie, because they often go hand in hand. One or the other, or both often accompany us in our daily activities — at beaches, bars and all of our famed downtown events. We even plan beer-related events around our dogs (or vice versa?). We love our dogs and beer so much that we've painted our pups all over the walls at our favorite bars!
