Let's remember those who died in the preservation of our freedom today.
- Today is Memorial Day. All city adminstrative offices and the library are closed in observance of the federal holiday. Waste pickup is on a regular schedule.
- Expect a 20 percent chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 89, according to the National Weather Service.
- Cheapest gas in Dunedin is reportedly at (at Bayshore and Michigan boulevards). TampaGasPrices.com shows a $3.61 cash price for a gallon of regular fuel.
- We're coming off the heels of National Boat Safety Week. Don't forget the rules of the water if you head out on the boat today. Wear your life jacket and refrain from drinking. Be careful.
