Looking for a great place to put up guests in Dunedin?

We all know Dunedin is a great place to visit. And we love it when our friends and family come to town. We just don’t always want them to actually stay in our homes. But how do we get that across without sounding, you know, a little rude…?

Here’s an idea: strongly suggest they stay at the Mai Tai Suites. Owners John and Karen Bickford offer fully furnished 850 square foot 2-bed, 1-bath suites for less than the price of a hotel.

Here are the top 3 stories in Dunedin today:

  1. Dunedin City Commissioners recently discussed its plans for extensive renovations at the Dunedin Golf Course, comparing the necessary work to an "architectural dig." If they dig deep enough, they'll be able to find the original putting surfaces and restore the golf course designed by renowned golf course architect Donald Ross. Since they aren't working from scratch, they expect the project to have its problems, including drainage issues, shrunken greens, and poorly placed trees. Commissioners hope construction will begin in the spring of 2024. (Tampa Bay Newspapers)
  2. Rat Riders Bicycle Club is hosting a Vintage & Custom Bicycle Show & Swap Meet at the VFW Post 2550 in Dunedin on April 8 between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. This family-friendly allows everyone to show off their bicycles. Attendees can also buy, sell, or trade bikes or bike parts. The event will include door prizes, raffles, food, drinks, a bicycle giveaway, and a contest awarding the top 10 bicycles. (VFW Post 2550 via Facebook)
  3. Dunedin's 2nd Friday Art Market is planned for April 14 between 5 and 10 p.m. in Pioneer Park. Stop by to enjoy live music, shopping, crafts, live painting, and so much more! Some participating vendors will offer caricature drawings, apparel, handmade candles, and wood carvings. It's the perfect addition to your Friday night downtown! (Dunedin Art Cave via Facebook)
