Here are the top 3 stories today in Dunedin:

  1. A Dunedin Golf Club Course Restoration & Community Input Meeting is scheduled for Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Hale Senior Activity Center. The city plans to restore the golf course, originally designed by legendary golf architect Donald Ross in the '20s. During the Community Input Meeting, they will showcase the proposed master plan developed by Stantec, Inc and Kris Spence Golf Architects. The community is invited to attend the meeting to learn about the restoration and provide feedback. (Dunedin Patch)
  2. Jillybean's Ice Cream & Treats is hosting the Canine Estates Annual Flea Market on Feb. 18 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. If you plan to go to Mardi Gras downtown, this is the perfect excuse to get to town early! The market will have various vendors selling books, movies, furniture, crafts, art, clothing, pet supplies, and more. Florida Skunk Rescue will be there for anyone interested in earning some skunk hugs! They will be serving $5 pancakes and plenty of ice cream. Proceeds go to support Canine Estate's foster dogs. (Canine Estates)
  3. The City of Dunedin reminds residents that according to Florida Law, all mail ballot requests on file expired on Dec. 31, 2022. Voters who would like to receive mail ballots must submit a new online mail ballot request form at votepinellas.gov. If you plan to vote in the municipal elections on March 14, you must submit your form by March 4 at 5 p.m. If you have any questions, you can call the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections office at 727-464-8683.
