Looking for a great place to put up guests in Dunedin?
We all know Dunedin is a great place to visit. And we love it when our friends and family come to town. We just don’t always want them to actually stay in our homes. But how do we get that across without sounding, you know, a little rude…?
Here’s an idea: strongly suggest they stay at the Mai Tai Suites. Owners John and Karen Bickford offer fully furnished 850 square foot 2-bed, 1-bath suites for less than the price of a hotel.

Here are the top 3 stories today in Dunedin:
- Did you know you can host your next birthday at Highlander Pool? They offer a Birthday Bash package that includes admission for 20 guests and two hours at the pool picnic pavilion for just $65 and an extra $3 for any additional guests. After-hours party options are also available. You can make your reservations by calling 727-298-3266 or speaking to staff in person at Highlander Pool. (Dunedin Gov)
- The Rotary Club of Dunedin recently shared an update on its Ukrainian Project, which assists Ukrainian families with finding housing and jobs. They also collect hygiene products and nonperishable foods to be shipped to Ukraine. The Rotary Club has assisted several families in the area and continues to collect money to help purchase items to help those in need. In addition to an update, the meeting included guest speakers, including several local Ukrainian family refugees being assisted by the project. (The Rotary Club of Dunedin via Facebook)
- The City of Dunedin will be painting the town purple on June 3 to help raise awareness for Alzheimer's disease. You can support the cause by wearing purple on June 3, shopping at businesses that support the cause, and participating in any Paint Dunedin Purple events. Event T-shirts will be on sale at the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce. Donations can be made here to help fight the disease. (Paint Dunedin Purple via Facebook)

- The City of Dunedin has some exciting job opportunities available, including accounting manager, mechanic, recreation leader, and more! Those interested can learn more and apply at the link. (Dunedin Gov)
- Friends of the Island Parks shared that billions of birds are migrating right now. While many people think of migration as a steady stream of travelers, it actually varies. Some days are packed with new bird arrivals, while others are quiet. Help prevent bird deaths by turning off lights at night and treating your windows to prevent collisions. (Friends of the Island Parks via Facebook)
- Are you heading to the Downtown Market today? Be sure to stop by Le Petit Delice and welcome them, as it's their first time selling their delicious baked goods in Dunedin! (Le Petit Delice via Facebook)
