Here are the top 3 stories today in Dunedin:

  1. Stirling Art Studios & Gallery shared a preview of some of the work that will be exhibited in their upcoming Holiday Art Show. The Color Your Holidays exhibit will run from Dec. 1 through Dec. 29 with an opening reception on Dec. 9 between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. You can stop by to check out this free art show during regular hours, Thursday through Sunday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Check out a sneak peek now on Stirling Art Studios & Gallery's Facebook page! 2. Pisces Sushi's annual gift card hunt is back! Their elves will be hiding 12 gift cards around Downtown Dunedin on Sunday, Dec. 11 in amounts ranging between $5 and $50. If you're walking around downtown, be sure to keep your eyes open for gift card filled gift boxes. Gift cards do not expire and can be used anytime during the restaurant's regular business hours. 3. As they do every year, The American Legion Family worked hard this Thanksgiving to assist others by hosting meals, delivering food to those who are homebound, providing support to first responders, and bringing a bit of home to servicemembers stationed away from their families. Florida-based American Legion Post 136 received national attention when they hosted a community Thanksgiving dinner for the residents of Pine Island, which was ravaged by Hurricane Ian in September. Members of Team Rubicon, including MSNBC 11th Hour host Stephanie Ruhle, have been in Florida concentrating on clean-up and rebuilding efforts since the hurricane hit and attended the dinner. American Legion Post 136 thanked other posts that helped make the Thanksgiving dinner possible, including Dunedin's very own American Legion Post 275. (American Legion)
