  1. Dunedin Parks & Recreation is offering a new program called "Adult Recess" at the Dunedin Community Center for anyone age 18 and older. Kids don't have to have all the fun! Adulting is hard — but it doesn't have to be! The program will be held on Wednesdays at 1:30 PM between April 6 and May 25. This is your opportunity to get out of the house and unwind with some of your favorite social games. Each week will feature a different game: giant pong, dodgeball, cornhole, fowling, Frisbee golf, and volleyball. Bring your friends, come out to play, and embrace your inner child. For more information call (727) 812-4530 or stop by the community center. (Dunedin Patch)
  2. The Dunedin Fine Arts Center will host the 42nd Annual Garden Party on April 10 between 5:00 and 8:00 PM at the Dunedin Golf Club. The evening will include an idyllic evening in Brigadoon, a Scottish village that only appears once every 100 years. Tickets start at $50. Attendees can expect live music, food, drinks, and other themed festivities. Scottish attire is encouraged! (DFAC)
  3. The sounds of bagpipes and drums will soon reverberate throughout the city as the 54th Highland Games and Festival returns to Dunedin for the first time in two years on April 1 and April 2. Attendees can expect to catch the Florida Open Highland Dance Championships, Scottish heavyweight athletics, vendors selling Scottish crafts, clothes, and other knickknacks, traditional Scottish foods, and more. The event will kick off with a parade through downtown Dunedin on Friday evening at 6:30 PM ending with a block party with food, drinks, and live music. The festival will then be held on Saturday in Highlander Park between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Get your tickets now online! (TBN Weekly)
  4. Pinellas County’s seasonal reclaimed water restrictions begin on Friday, April 1, and run through Thursday, June 30. Due to supply fluctuations between the north and south county systems, the watering schedules for reclaimed water users are different for customers in each service area. Enforcement of watering restrictions is currently being intensified to encourage responsible use of reclaimed water. Read the full article to learn when you may irrigate based on your address.
