Here are the top 3 stories today in Dunedin:

  1. The 12th Annual Music & Craft Beer Festival is scheduled for March 4 at 4:00 PM and March 5 at 12:00 PM in Edgewater Park. Those who attend the free festival can expect local craft beer, live music, arts & crafts, food vendors, and more. A Limited Edition Eddy Fast Pass is available for $50 per day and includes five beer tickets, a limited edition 16-ounce cup, and priority access to all beer lines. Those interested in vendor spaces or volunteering can learn more on the festival website. (Dunedin Festivals)
  2. The City of Dunedin asks residents to do their part and avoid damaging the city's wastewater system. Items like cotton balls, feminine hygiene products, dental floss, hair, and baby wipes should never be flushed down the toilet. The city currently maintains approximately 140 miles of sanitary sewer mains. Despite having various systems in place monitoring the sewer lines, the city asks that residents do their best to prevent sewer back-ups. Any costs related to clogs within sanitary sewer piping on the homeowner’s property are the homeowner’s responsibility. (Dunedin Gov)
  3. Don't forget, today is "Heart Health & National Wear Red Day" so wear red and visit the Dunedin Community Center to receive free admission to the Fitness Center and Group Exercise Classes. The day is observed nationally to raise awareness for heart disease, the leading cause of death among Americans. (Dunedin Gov)
