Let Kids' Imaginations Soar During Dunedin Summer Art Camps
The Dunedin Fine Arts Center has been offering art camps for kids for more than 35 years.

DUNEDIN, FL — Registration is open for Dunedin Fine Arts Center summer camps, offering children's enrichment programs, taught by experienced artists, for more than 35 years.
This year's camps include:
Sizzlin' Summer Visual Arts Camp (Ages 6-10)
Arts in Motion (Ages 8-12)
Mural Madness (Ages 8-10 or ages 11-14)
Art Squad Teen Art Camp (Ages 11-14)
iPad Explorations (Ages 8-10)
Mini Masters (Ages 4 1/2-5)

Art Squad Teen Art Camp
The Art Squad Teen Summer Camp allows teens to use the theme of the week as a departure point for their own creative experience. Squads are divided by age.
Students will learn drawing, painting and mixed media skills, experiment with digital imaging in the photo shop and do creative journaling.

Drop-off is between 8:30 and 9 a.m. and pick-up is promptly at 3 p.m.

Mini Masters
The Mini Masters Preschool Art Camp is designed for children entering kindergarten (age 5 by Aug. 31, 2021). Space is limited, so early registration is suggested.
Campers will explore adventures in art with mixed media focused on fun and educational themes of the week.
Campers have lunch (not provided) together at 11:30 am. and the camp provides a snack for them at 1:45 p.m.
Drop-off is between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m. and pick-up is promptly at 3 p.m.
Magnificent Murals For Ages 8 -10
Under the direction of the DFAC’s faculty, Magnificent Murals will show kids ages 8 to 10 the steps in creating monumental-sized drawings and paintings that will be on display at DFAC.
Students will work as a team or in smaller groups using the theme of the week to work up sketches, then scaled drawings, then transferring and enlarging their artwork onto huge sections of paper.
Drop-off is between 8:30 and 9 a.m. and pick-up is promptly at 3 p.m.
Arts In Motion
The Variety of Performing Art Form camp for ages 8 to 12 embraces the idea that art goes beyond the traditional visual form and explores other “art-full” areas such as music theater, dance, circus arts and karate.
The sessions run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Art And Technology
Under the direction of DFAC’s faculty, young artists ages 8 to 10 will have fun with art and technology as they explore the digital world on DFAC iPads. Campers will create art using a variety of artsy apps, and two-dimensional materials will be used as well as items for stop-motion animation.

Visual Arts Camp
The Visual Arts Camp for ages 6 to 10 introduces students to a variety of media, techniques, art history and multicultural appreciation in a fun and educational environment.
Pre-planned age-appropriate projects, based on the weekly themes, are worked on daily and ready to come home by Friday. Clay projects take a few days to be fired and are ready for pick-up the following Wednesday. Students rotate through four classes a day.
Campers are divided into groups by age.
Drop-off is between 8:30 and 9 a.m. and pick-up is promptly at 3 p.m.
