- Due to an increased demand for reclaimed water because of the drier than normal weather this time of year, reclaimed water customers in Dunedin are experiencing extremely low water pressure. The lack of reclaimed water is a distribution system-wide issue and is not isolated to a certain area of the city or an individual customer's irrigation system. Customers can expect reduced reclaimed water pressure until the normal summer rain patterns resume. As a reminder, there is no watering on Wednesdays or between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. - The 18th Annual Dunedin Triathlon is scheduled for May 22 at 7:30 AM at Honeymoon Island State Park. This event has been one of Florida's most desired and favorite sprint distance triathlons since its launch in 2004. There are three triathlon options to choose from, the Sprint Triathlon, the Sprint Duathlon, and the Sprint AquaBike. Register now and learn more about the event online. (Dunedin Patch | DRC Sports)

Students see where their food comes from, how to nourish themselves, and gain respect for the environment. (Facebook)
- Dunedin High School features one of its Juniors, Cadence Shafer-Ewald, for entering the National Merit Scholarship Program, which is the most prestigious academic recognition nationally. Students can qualify for this program through the 11t- grade PSAT. She ranks in the top 95 percent of students nationally and she will hopefully move on to the Semi-Finalist round! Cadence will be entering USF next year as an Early Admission student. After graduation, she hopes to major in Physics and minor in Philosophy, with the goal of earning her PhD in Astrophysics. Congrats! (Facebook)
