- On April 1, Co-Founder Joe Mackin will retire from his service as the president of the board of directors at Dunedin Cares Food Pantry. Mackin opened the doors of Dunedin Cares with co-founder, Ed Hughes, in November of 2015 with just a handful of volunteers in a 600 square foot back room of the Faith Lutheran Church. When Hughes passed in 2019, Joe kept the mission alive as the president, building the volunteer base, community contacts, outreach programs, and guest relationships that make Dunedin Cares the special place it is today. Mackin will remain part of the Dunedin Cares Pantry family as a mentor, co-founder, and volunteer as it continues to grow and provide help to those in need. (Dunedin Cares)

The survey is built upon the 2019 survey to gauge residents' satisfaction with services, provide perspectives, and capture feedback. The act of comparing one survey year to another will allow the City to see how the impacts of its work over the past several years may impact opinions. Click the link to take the survey now.
