Looking for a great place to put up guests in Dunedin?

We all know Dunedin is a great place to visit. And we love it when our friends and family come to town. We just don’t always want them to actually stay in our homes. But how do we get that across without sounding, you know, a little rude…?

Here’s an idea: strongly suggest they stay at the Mai Tai Suites. Owners John and Karen Bickford offer fully furnished 850 square foot 2-bed, 1-bath suites for less than the price of a hotel.

Here are the top 3 stories in Dunedin today:

  1. Meet Tiffany and Bob Potter, owners of Dunedin's Tiki Bus! If you haven't ridden the Tiki Bus, you've certainly seen it driving around downtown. It's hard to miss, especially at night when it's all lit up. The Potters are heavily involved in tiki culture and even transformed their basement into a tiki bar! The Tiki Bus is fully funded by advertising and tips from customers. Rides are free, and they'll pick you up right at home! To schedule a pickup, call Tiffany at 727-992-4174. The Tiki Bus runs between 5 and 11 p.m. on Fridays and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays. Special events may impact these hours. (Tampa Bay Newspapers)
  2. The City of Dunedin is hosting a Public Works Equipment Rodeo on May 24 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. in Highlander Park. This event is in support of the employees and operators who maintain our city's infrastructure. The day will be full of entertainment, including exciting competitions, corn hole games, life-size cup pong, and food trucks! Anyone interested in competing should stop by to register between 8 and 9 a.m. (Dunedin Gov)
  3. Fenway Hotel is hosting a lawn concert on May 21 between 1 and 4 p.m. featuring live music with the Erica Diceglie Band. Guests will also have access to various lawn games, including cornhole, Jenga, and Connect 4! Food and drinks will also be available for purchase. (Fenway Hotel)
