Here are the top 3 stories in Dunedin today:
- The Honu will be hosting a Miss Honu 2023 Pinup Contest on Sept. 24 between 2 and 5 p.m. Those interested in competing can register for free at the link. Registration will be capped at 12 contestants, with slots available on a first come, first serve basis. The event will include live music, vintage cars, tiki drinks, and more! (Mayzie Mac via Facebook)
- Get your tickets to a special paint night event at HOB with Heather's Traveling Canvas at 6:30 p.m. on July 25. Choose from two canvas sizes to paint on and learn to create a fun orange design while enjoying one of HOB's many craft beers. All materials are included in the price of your ticket, with a special price available for those who bring their own supplies. (Heather's Traveling Canvas via Facebook)
- The City of Dunedin asks everyone to help preserve plant and animal life in Hammock Park by sticking to the designated trails only. Temporary signs have been placed in areas where people have attempted to create new paths. Unknowingly, people have created paths leading to environmentally sensitive areas, preventing plant life from thriving in its natural state. Remember to keep to the trails next time you're in the park. (City of Dunedin via Facebook)
