Here are the top 3 stories in Dunedin today:

  1. On Wednesday, Pinellas County Schools participated in National SAVE Day, or Students Against Violence Everywhere. As part of the Sandy Hook Promise Program, its goal is to train students, and adults, to recognize the signs and prevent gun violence. Students at San Jose Elementary in Dunedin participated in a special activity to recognize the day, choosing someone in the room to thank. The point of the activity was to teach students how to show appreciation for each other and promote anti-bullying. (Bay News 9)
  2. Downtown Crawlers is hosting a Halloween Bar Crawl in downtown Dunedin on Oct. 29 between 3 and 11:30 p.m. Participants will check in at Reboot Arcade & Bar before heading to other participating bars, including Flanagan's Irish Pub and The Rusty Lyon. Tickets are $25 and include welcome shots at participating bars, free cover to all participating venues, free entry to the After Party, exclusive drink specials, and Trick-or-Treat candy. A professional photographer will be taking photos at each location. (727 Area)
  3. Today, Oct. 21, watch a live recording of the Senior Voice America Podcast: Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the Hale Senior Activity Center between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Enjoy a free lunch as you listen to professionals discussing health and educational topics. Guests will have an opportunity to ask questions. This month's topic is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Games, activities, and prizes are also included.
