Looking for a great place to put up guests in Dunedin?
We all know Dunedin is a great place to visit. And we love it when our friends and family come to town. We just don’t always want them to actually stay in our homes. But how do we get that across without sounding, you know, a little rude…?
Here’s an idea: strongly suggest they stay at the Mai Tai Suites. Owners John and Karen Bickford offer fully furnished 850 square foot 2-bed, 1-bath suites for less than the price of a hotel.

Here are the top 3 stories in Dunedin today:
- Mayor Julie Ward Bujalski advocated for a new dog park on city property at a recent budget meeting. City officials have had $300,000 in their budget for a new dog park for several years but haven't been able to find a location. When Dunedin partnered with Achieva to create Achieva Dog Park, city officials agreed to also create a dog park on city property, and that was 10 years ago. "When you make a promise to the public, I think you need to keep it," Bujalski said. She is pushing for a dog park on the south side of town. (Tampa Bay Newspapers)
- Zero Suicide Partners of Pinellas is hosting a Veterans Coffee Social at 9 a.m. on June 22 at VFW Post 2550 Dunedin. The event is open to anyone who has served or is currently serving in the military. These monthly events help provide veterans with an environment of mental and social support and provide useful resources to attendees. Contact Zero Suicide Partners of Pinellas for more information or with any questions you may have. (Zero Suicide Partners of Pinellas via Facebook)
- Pinellas County Office of Consumer Protection and Dunedin Parks & Recreation is hosting a free seminar on Florida's Landlord/Tenant Laws on June 13 at 10 a.m. in the Hale Senior Activity Center. Attendees will learn their rights as tenants as well as the rights and responsibilities of landlords. No registration is required to attend. (City of Dunedin via Facebook)
